TerraPools wooden pools have a resistant structure designed to last. With a construction system similar to the one we can find in the rest of removable steel pools, but with a structure made of wood on which rests a PVC liner as we can find in the rest of pools. A system of proven efficiency that now we can have with these wood finishes.
For the composition of the wooden structure this is made up of 28 mm thick slats. A great thickness that provides the installation with a solid and resistant structure. This also gives them unique characteristics that allow us to install the pool both above ground, semi-buried or buried.
The wood of the TerraPools pools is made of French pine and has a double certificate of origin that guarantees the sustainability of the forests from which the wood was harvested. These models have the FSC and PEFC certificates controlled by independent entities that assure us that they meet the criteria for obtaining them.
In addition, the wood is treated to withstand moisture and insect attack. For this they have an Autoclave IV treatment. This type of treatment eliminates air and humidity from the wood by subjecting it to a vacuum and then filling the pores with chemical products that prevent the penetration of humidity and other types of attacks, making it suitable for outdoor use.
Manufactured in France in French Scots pine and with class IV autoclave treatment that guarantees the resistance of the wood against insect attack and rotting. 10 years warranty on the wood.

A pool with multiple options
One of the advantages of this swimming pool is to be able to arrange it so much elevated, as semi buried or completely buried. This gives us a great flexibility that increases the options of the way in which we can arrange it.

Tips:
If we decide to leave the pool set up in winter, we must take into account the following:
- Leave the pool full of water, bearing in mind that:
- For pools with skimmer and return valve: water level 5 cm below the skimmer and close the return valve with the screw cap supplied with the filter unit.
- For pools with inlet and return valve: water level 20 cm from the top of the pool and close the valves by means of the screw system incorporated in the valves.
- Disconnect the hoses. Do not disassemble the skimmer (if any) or the valves.
- Protect the pool with a winter cover and place a large inflatable element between the water and the cover to protect the pool against the cold.
- To avoid the formation of algae during this period of time, use a chemical product for wintering.
- With regard to the filtering system, it is advisable to disconnect it from the pool, clean it, empty the sand, dry it and store it in a covered place without humidity.
