Range Comparison

Hayward® Star Clear and Star Clear Plus cartridge filters offer very good filtration fineness, between 15 and 20 microns.

They are environmentally friendly and hose cleanable, with no need for backwashing and therefore no need for drainage.

Available in 6 models from 6 to 40 m3/h for all types of configuration, they guarantee an exemplary water quality with a minimum of space.

Unlike sand filters, Star Clear and Star Clear Plus retain even the finest suspended particles and do not require the use of flocculant additives.

In addition, their reinforced polyester cartridge guarantees an optimal lifetime of the filter elements, for a relaxed use all year round.

Characteristics

1. Butterfly lock for easy assembly of the filter cover and body.
2. Lid for easy access to the cartridge. Allows for rotating the pressure gauge and bleeder plug at your convenience.
3. Filter element made of reinforced polyester: high quality for optimum durability and easy cleaning.
4. Filter body injected with Duralon to guarantee perfect corrosion resistance.
5. Central crepina to guarantee an optimal water flow and an excellent rigidity.
6. Base: non-corrosive support that guarantees a perfect stability of the filter alone or of the filter used in a system.
7. Elevated collector preventing impurities from accidentally falling back into the pool when the cartridge is removed for cleaning.
8. Drain plug (emptying) of 1/2" female, which allows to empty the filter in a fast and comfortable way.
